The Bibb County Courthouse is in Macon, Georgia. It was completed in 1924 and is Bibb County's fourth courthouse. It was designed by Curran R. Ellis. It houses the county's division of the state court system as well as various administrative offices. It is located in downtown Macon on the same street (two blocks west) as the William Augustus Bootle Federal Building and United States Courthouse.
The Cannonball House, named for damage sustained during the War Between the States, was built in 1853 as a planter’s townhouse. Located in Macon, Georgia, The Cannonball House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Kingfisher Cabin, writing retreat of well-known Macon novelist and short story author Harry Stillwell Edwards, was built in 1929. Edwards used the cabin to produce a weekly column for the "Atlanta Journal". The cabin graces the Sweetgum nature Trail at the Museum of Arts and Sciences in Macon, Georgia.
